CCSB is a non-auditioned regional ensemble welcoming singers from the Seacoast area. We welcome potential singers to attend the first two rehearsals before making a commitment to join.

Generally, the dress rehearsal is the Thursday before the concert, however, the exact day and location are TBD.

Concerts are April 25 & 26 - You must be able to be present for both concerts to participate.

Member dues are $80 per term ($160 for the two-term season). This helps cover some of CCSB’s costs including our sheet music, rehearsal space, concert programs, performance venues, and accompanying musicians. Music will be provided to each singer at the first rehearsal.
The Community Chorus at South Berwick harnesses the power of singing together to build community, inspire creativity, affirm every person's worth, and promote the transformative influence of choral music. No audition is required to participate as a choral singer. All levels of musical experience are accepted. Some of our participants have no singing or musical experience at all, some are amateur or professional level singers, and some are instrumental musicians with little or no singing experience.
Your willingness to learn your part (with audio practice files) and to work cooperatively in rehearsals is vital to the success of the experience for everyone.

Able to follow and take verbal direction from a conductor?
Willing to study your part outside of rehearsals? (You will have access to practice audio files.)
Able to actively participate in two hour rehearsals? (Standing is NOT required.)
